Why this matters to us
We pick up cardboard for a living, but the reason we do it is bigger than cardboard. Cleaner blocks, less waste, and neighborhoods where people feel good about where they live — that is the work underneath the work.
We want to support cleaner communities, responsible recycling, community awareness, and initiatives that bring hope to families. Some of that is happening now. Some of it is still a goal we are building toward, and we are honest about which is which.
Active now
Responsible recycling
Keeping usable cardboard out of the waste stream by collecting it properly and getting it recycled.
Neighborhood cleanups
Working in the South Atlanta communities we serve to help clear cardboard and clutter from shared spaces.
Stop Gun Violence Atlanta
Our community awareness initiative, run as its own program with its own page.
Goals we are working toward
These are future goals, not current programs. We list them so you know where we are heading — we will not claim them as done before they are.
How support works here
Send us the request form below and we will speak with you first. After that conversation, we will send you the approved mailing instructions — including how to send a money order payable to Box Hero Recycling if that is how you would like to give.
We do this in that order on purpose. It means a real person has talked with you, and it means nobody is sending money anywhere based on a page they read online.
An important, plain statement
Box Hero Recycling is a company running this initiative. We are not a nonprofit and not a registered charity, and contributions are not tax-deductible. We will never tell you otherwise.
